Customer Story: B.R.A.K.E.S. – Enhancing Student Driver Support with AI
About B.R.A.K.E.S.
B.R.A.K.E.S. (Be Responsible And Keep Everyone Safe) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing injuries and saving lives by training and educating teenage drivers and their parents. Founded by NHRA drag racer Doug Herbert after the tragic loss of his sons, B.R.A.K.E.S. provides free, hands-on advanced driver training to equip young drivers with critical safety skills.
The Challenge
With over 5,000 students trained annually and 30,000+ monthly website visitors, B.R.A.K.E.S. receives a high volume of inquiries via email and phone. Answering these questions takes valuable time from their team, creating delays and increasing the operational workload. They needed a scalable, AI-powered solution that could provide quick and accurate answers while reflecting their organization’s tone and personality.
Why Alysium?
B.R.A.K.E.S. wanted an easy-to-use, self-service platform that leveraged Generative AI to:
✅ Reduce emails & Calls for common questions while ensuring users received timely support
✅ Maintain their unique brand voice and tone
✅ Dynamically generate responses tailored to each user’s needs
The Solution
Working closely with B.R.A.K.E.S., we defined their chatbot’s requirements and developed an AI-powered assistant to accurately answer user questions. The chatbot was seamlessly integrated into their website with a simple script that their developer added in under 10 minutes.
The onboarding process has been manual as we work together to test and refine the chatbot’s accuracy and reliability before full deployment.
Current Status & Future Plans
As of early 2025, the chatbot is still in the testing phase, where we are actively fine-tuning responses to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with the B.R.A.K.E.S. brand voice.
Once testing is complete, the chatbot will officially launch on the B.R.A.K.E.S. website to provide real-time support for their users.
We’ll share future updates, including enhancements and measurable impact, as they become available.
